"Uvalde" is a 8 year old 14 hand cute AQHA registered sorrel ranch gelding, from the ranching area in Southwest
Texas near the town of Uvalde, Texas. This horse came from a ranching family that used him for everything you can do
around the ranch, and was ridden by everyone on the ranch including the kids. As you can see, by his condition this
horse has been turned out for the last year, and due to the drought, the high cost of feed and the kids' loss of interest
in riding horses, I was able to purchase this horse. Even after being turned out for the last year and not ridden by
anyone, we saddled him, he rode off with out any issues, as if we have been riding him all along. He does not get fresh
or frisky or want to buck, if turned out for long periods of time. He is easy to catch, load, shoe, saddle, and mount. This
is a horse that everyone from beginners to experienced riders can enjoy and feel safe to ride. He has a good rein,
stop, and back up, and if you are looking for a good honest all around kind of horse, that is easy to mount and yet will
go wherever you ask him and do whatever you ask him, then don't pass him up.
