"Sox" is a 12 year old 15 hand gorgeous sorrel gelding. This is a horse with a really good rein,
stop, and back up and can absolutely be ridden by anyone that has any basic riding skills. He
rides with a loose rein and should not be ridden by anyone that is heavy handed or has a
tendency to hold on with the reins. Any Beginner rider that will ride him with a light hand can
ride and enjoy this horse, and even take lessons on him. The most Experienced riders will really
enjoy and appreciate the way this horse rides and handles. This is a very flashy horse with
excellent conformation, and a very willing and forgiving attitude (in case you make a riding
error). He is easy to catch, shoe, load, saddle, and mount, and does not appear to have any bad
riding habits at all. This is a good gentle all around kind of horse that would be an excellent
performance prospect in the arena, a good lesson horse in the lesson pen, or a good trail horse
on the trails or on the ranch. I was told when I purchased this horse that he had been turned
out for about 4 or 5 years. When we saddled him for the first time you could tell that he felt good
but he never did anything wrong or acted frisky or tried to buck. We have been riding and using
him off and on over the last few weeks and have not had any problems with him at all. I really like
this horse and I feel that he would be a good, safe, gentle horse for any family, stable, or ranch.
