"Marcos" is an 8 year old 15 hand, good looking sorrel ranch gelding that comes from down in the South Texas
ranching area. This horse has been used as a working ranch horse doing all sorts of ranch work such as, gathering
and pinning cattle, sorting cattle, checking fences, water, and etc. He has a really good neck rein, stop, and backup. He
walks, trots, and lopes on loose rein, and responds to all of his riding cues very smooth and promptly. This horse has
about as smooth as a trot and a short lope as you have ever ridden. He has also been ridden in some Western
Pleasure. I believe he is definitely gentle and safe enough for the beginner rider (including children) and yet fine tuned
and well trained enough to be really enjoyed and appreciated by the intermediate and experienced riders. He has no
bad habits, and is easy to catch, load, shoe, saddle, and mount. When I purchased this horse he had been turned out
for several months and not ridden, and when we saddled him and rode him for the first time, there were absolutely no
issues. I don't believe this horse will get fresh, frisky, or want to buck if turned out for long periods of time. This is a
really nice gentle horse that deserves a real good home. Scroll down for more pictures.
