"Kris" is a 11 year old, 15 hand bay, ranch gelding that comes from the West Texas ranching area. This is a
nice laid-back, gentle, easy-riding gelding, that everyone from beginners (including children) to the most
experienced of riders will definitely enjoy riding. He is "push-button", and gives you 100% of his attention,
and will rate himself according to the level of rider that is on him. He does not get mad or excited if you make
riding mistakes, he is very patient and well mannered and will get you there and back safely. This horse was
sold so the ranch could make room for some young horses, and to insure that the ranch hands would ride the
younger horses instead of the mature, gentler horses. He is easy to catch, load, shoe, saddle, and mount
and has no bad habits and will go wherever you ask him, whenever you ask. He does not frisky or fresh or
want to buck, no matter how long he is turned out, and he will not spook or shy at anything in the pastures or
on the trails. He has recently had his teeth floated and wormed, and has new shoes. With his height, his thick
frame and muscular conformation, he would be an excellent choice for that heavier rider that does not want
to mount a tall horse, and yet feel confident that his horse can carry him (her). This is an excellent All-Around
